Tape Extensions
What it is:
Tape Extensions are extensions that are attached in small strips using a special adhesive tape. At Skyler London, we use only the highest quality Tape Extensions from Great Lengths.
Who it is for:
Tape Extensions are suitable for those looking for a quicker, more temporary boost of volume, length, a style refresh or colour fix.
Unique technique:
The natural hair is sectioned, and the extension tapes are applied below and above the hair. All the sections are carefully directed to match the natural hair growth, resulting in the hair staying tangled free.
Upkeep:
Maintenance is important, and it’s recommended that your tapes are removed and reapplied every 8 weeks. If well maintained, the hair from your tape extensions can be reused up to 3 more times; and the tapes can last up to 24 weeks.
To maintain your new long locks, we recommend using a specific sulphate free shampoo and conditioner to ensure your hair stays radiant and tangle free!
When the time is right, your extensions should be removed professionally to ensure that your own hair and scalp are left in perfect condition. You can book a removal appointment with any of our certified extension specialists.

Made out of 100% human hair, tape extensions can be colour matched to blend seamlessly with your existing hair colour. Great Length’s Tape Extensions are perfect for a quick application and are a cost-effective way to add luscious length. You can add as many or as little tapes as you choose; to create the perfect weight for you.
Tape Extensions are suitable for most hair types but for finer hair, we advise you to read about Great Lengths Bond Extensions. Our Extension experts will be able to advise you on which extensions will best suit you and your hair needs.
Terms & Conditions:
Our Great Lengths consultations require a £20 deposit, (unless otherwise stated), but if you decide to go ahead, this amount will be deducted from your extensions bill or at your next colour appointment. Should you feel after your consultation that Tape Extensions are not right for you; you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
Cancellation:
If for any reason you would like to cancel your extension appointment, you will need to call the salon within 48 hours prior to your appointment; failure to do so will result in the loss of your deposit.
